In 2011 Deaf Can:Do is celebrated 120 Years of service to the deaf and hard of hearing community by the Royal South Australian Deaf Society!
In February 2011, a special morning tea was held to kick off celebrations of this milestone. Members of the Deaf Community, supporters and staff were invited to a morning tea, which was attended by our Patron His Excellency Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce, Governor of South Australia and his wife Mrs Liz Scarce. It was a delightful morning which started celebrations off on a very high note!
A special photo of the Deaf Community was taken in the same style as the old one in the Deaf Society’s foyer to commemorate the occasion.
