Talking Hands Auslan Classes at Deaf Can:Do

During Deaf Can:Do’s short courses ‘Talking Hands,’ participants will be immersed in a fun, interactive introduction to communication with Auslan users.  All classes are presented by a Deaf Auslan Tutor and provide a fun introduction to this fascinating language. Talking Hands classes enable students to hold basic conversations with Deaf people, are a lot of fun and can also be a great way to meet new people.  Courses run for two hours per week over five weeks – view the current timetable here to find out when the next course starts.

Talking Hands 1 can then be followed by Talking Hands 2 and 3 for more in depth learning opportunities.

Talking Hands courses are currently taking place at Deaf Can:Do's Welland office, classes run from  6-8pm.

Cost:  $185 per person ($165 concession)

*Attendees must commit to a block of classes and cannot change days week to week

Talking Hands Intensive Auslan Workshops

Our ‘Talking Hands,’ courses are also offered as intensive weekend sessions at locations across metropolitan and regional South Australia throughout the year.  If you would like to be kept up to date on our workshops or suggest a location for a workshop, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
